Q: What is your favorite outdoor activity?
A: My favorite outdoor activity is hiking! I'm lucky to be very familiar with all the parks and trails in my hometown from years spent running on them, and I love being able to take it slow and look around at all the wildlife and plants. I also got to hike a 14er in Colorado with my brother, which was an absolutely amazing experience! The views from the top of Mt. Elbert were incredible!
Q: What's your favorite book?
A: I love reading, so choosing a favorite book is so hard for me! I think Harry Potter will always be in my list of favorites, but Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and the Sherlock Holmes mysteries are also among my favorites right now.
Q: What's your favorite native plant?
A: Sugar maple trees are definitely among my favorites because of their vibrant colors in the fall. I also love Eastern purple coneflowers, especially when they attract the beautiful Eastern Tiger Swallowtail!
